The Amarillo VA Health Care System in Amarillo, Texas strives to provide primary, specialty, and extended care of the highest quality to veterans; however, in order to do so effectively, the VA recognizes the need to provide quality maintenance to their aging facility.

"With the first buildings constructed in 1939, the VA Medical Center features five buildings that, like any building, need regular service and attention," says Gary Robinson, Facilities Performance Engineer at FSE. "We're helping them identify unreliable and inefficient systems and equipment, and creating a plan to upgrade them to like-new operation."

In addition to an HVAC evaluation, the work will include a retro-commissioning / continuous commissioning plan to bring equipment to its proper operational state, as well as preventive maintenance procedures to help with day-to-day operations.

"The VA provides such amazing care to our veterans," says Gary. "It's truly an honor to be able to help create comfortable environments for our service men and women."
