Excellence, Efficiency a Priority for Innovative Ohio CompanyOctober 2011
As a small business that provides waste management, environmental services, decontamination and decommissioning, and facility management and operations, Wastren Advantage, Inc. clearly understands the importance of a well-executed facility, which is why Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. is so proud to have helped one Wastren Advantage facility be as efficient as possible.
Through a full commissioning process, Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. helped the facility in Piketon, Ohio reduce change order costs and long-term operating costs by reducing energy consumption and optimizing the facility’s control system and DDC control sequence strategies.
With the commissioning project complete, Wastren Advantage is working on achieving LEED certification for its Piketon facility. Gene Collins of Wastren Advantage notes, "Our office is the first new LEED construction project in Piketon County Ohio. Four Seasons Environmental provided professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and courteous staff that interfaced with me, the general contractor, and architect to ensure items under their scope were completed, thus ensuring the end user was fully satisfied."
Chris Rice, the FSE on-site commissioning agent for the project, adds "I really enjoyed working with the people at Wastren and am excited to know the staff is happy with the work we did. I hope I have the opportunity to work alongside the Wastren team them again in the future."
