Letter from the President: Three Little Words to Success

April 2016

When I consider the meaning of this part of our vision phrase, I am grateful for the exceptional attitude of the FSE workforce. Exceptional care is the ingredient of our service that sets us apart in the workplace. Exceptional care is the attitude behind our excellent service. It is the face our clients see behind a phone call or an email. It is the assurance they possess away from the workplace that we care a lot about their business, their mission and their success. Our clients have confidence that we have their backs. This little excerpt from "The Simple Truths of Service" by Ken Blanchard and Barbara Glanz puts words to this attitude that I see in so many of you.

"AND THEN SOME…these three little words are the secret to success.
They are the difference between average people and top people in most companies.
The top people always do what is expected…and then some.
They are thoughtful of others, they are considerate and kind…and then some.
They meet their responsibilities fairly and squarely…and then some.
They are good friends and helpful neighbors…and then some.
They can be counted on in an emergency…and then some.
I am thankful for people like this, for they make the world a better place.
Their spirit of service is summed up in these three little words…and then some."
-Carl Holmes-

Today, I am thankful that this little company has much more than our share of employees that live this out on a daily basis – both at work and away from work. This attitude of exceptional care is a way of life and can't be turned on and turned off. It must be part of one's DNA. To all of you who live your lives this way, I am so grateful you are a part of our world…and then some.
